I have lived in Edna all my life. I grew up going to watch the races every Saturday night. When I was 15 I got my first racecar and started racing some. Didn't do that well at first but I was having fun. At the age of 16 was when I began to be more dedicated about racing. That year was also when I met my wife, Anna. We got married at the age of 18 and the night after we got married I won my first Bomber feature race. Later that year we had our son, Jason. After running in the Bomber class a couple of years, I moved to the Street Stock class and ran there a couple of years. The last year running in that class I ended up in second place for the year after a tight battle for the championship. Went to the Texas Grand at the end of that year and totaled out the car, so I bought a Super Stock and have been driving that ever since.

Racing is the best family sport in my opinion. My son enjoys helping me work on the car and is eager to someday be out there racing against me. Nearly every Saturday night we spend quality family time together either racing somewhere or watching the races.
